Module 1: Introduction to Risk Communication and Community Engagement

In this opening module, participants will have the opportunity to introduce themselves and get to know fellow participants and facilitators. We will discuss the training objectives and align them with your personal expectations and learning goals. Together, we’ll establish ground rules to foster a safe and respectful learning environment. Finally, we’ll refresh our understanding of what Risk Communication and Community Engagement (RCCE) is and explore why it is vital in our field.
